2. PRIZE
One (1) grand prize of two (2) single-day General Admission tickets to the Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL) 2026 at Zilker Park in Austin, TX. One for you and one for a coworker. Winners choose their preferred day and weekend subject to ticket availability at time of prize fulfillment.
4. HOW TO ENTER
No purchase necessary. To enter your venue:
- Go to shiftcheck.bar
- Create an account
- Search for your venue and leave an honest anonymous review
- Encourage your coworkers to do the same
Each eligible review submitted for a qualifying venue counts toward that venue's contest score. Venues do not need to register separately; they are automatically entered when they receive their first review.
5. SCORING
The winning venue will be determined by a composite score calculated as follows:
Base Score:
- 60% weight on total number of verified reviews
- 40% weight on overall average rating (score × 10)
Bonus Points:
- +0.5 bonus points per review that includes written content in all three sections: What's Great About Working Here, What Could Be Better, and Advice to Management
Example calculation: A venue with 40 reviews, a 4.2 average rating, and 25 written reviews would score: (40 × 0.60) + (4.2 × 10 × 0.40) + (25 × 0.5) = 24 + 16.8 + 12.5 = 53.3 points
Minimum threshold: Venues must have at least 10 reviews to qualify for scoring.
7. DISQUALIFICATION
ShiftCheck reserves the right to disqualify any venue that:
- Submits or solicits fake, incentivized, or fraudulent reviews
- Submits multiple reviews from the same account or device
- Violates ShiftCheck's Terms of Service in any way
- Attempts to manipulate the scoring system through any means
ShiftCheck's determination of disqualification is final and binding.
8. FRAUD PREVENTION
ShiftCheck will audit the top 5 finalists for suspicious review patterns including but not limited to: multiple reviews submitted within a short time window, reviews with identical or near-identical written content, and reviews submitted from the same IP address or device.
9. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
ShiftCheck is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged prizes. ShiftCheck reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest at any time for any reason. All decisions made by ShiftCheck regarding this contest are final.
10. PUBLICITY
By participating, entrants grant ShiftCheck the right to use their venue name and review count in promotional materials related to the contest. No personal information of individual reviewers will be disclosed.
